韩国艺术家麦尔·李1988年出生于首尔，现于首尔和阿姆斯特丹生活与工作。李分别于2012年和2013年从首尔大学美术学院取得雕塑系艺术学士学位和媒体艺术硕士学位。李曾参与的艺术家驻留项目包括2015年巴黎国际艺术城，2016年首尔市立美术馆以及2018年阿姆斯特丹皇家视觉艺术学院。
麦尔·李近期的个展包括乌特勒支卡斯科艺术中心“如果石头可以说话（沉默是一片公地）”（2019年）和首尔仁寺艺术中心“战争是由情感而非士兵赢得的”（2014年）。她的作品曾在韩国及国际上众多群展中展出，包括首尔库卡画廊“一片雪花”（2017年），阿姆斯特丹Akinci画廊“润滑语言”（2019年），沙迦艺术基金会“表面张力”（2019年）以及维勒班当代艺术中心“脑空间实验室：第16站”（2019年）。她的雕塑作品《破坏者》在2019年的第15届里昂双年展““河流交汇的地方”中广受好评。

Korean artist Mire Lee was born in Seoul in 1988. She currently lives and works between Seoul and Amsterdam. Lee majored in sculpture at the College of Fine Arts of the Seoul National University where she received her BFA in 2012; she received her MFA in Media Art from the same institution in 2013. Lee has participated in a number of residency programs at the Cité internationale des arts in Paris in 2015, Seoul Museum of Art in 2016, and the Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten in Amsterdam in 2018.
Lee’s recent solo exhibitions include: Het is of de stenen spreken (silence is a commons), Casco Art Institute, Utrecht (2019) and War is Won by Sentiment Not by Soldiers, Insa Art Space, Seoul (2014). Her work was included in numerous Korean and international group exhibitions and projects, such as A Snowflake, Kukje Gallery, Seoul (2017), Lubricated Language ,Galerie Akinci, Amsterdam (2019), Surface Tension, Sharjah Art Foundation, Sharjah(2019) , Laboratoire Espace Cerveau: Station 16, Institut d’art contemporain, Villeurbanne (2019) . Lee’s installation of two motorized sculptures Saboteurs was well received at the 15th Biennale de Lyon: Là où les eaux se mêlent in 2019.
Lee employs minimal, low-tech kinetic technology to create motorized sculpture works with raw materials like steel, silicone, plaster and clay. Her sculptures, most of which are biomorphic and site-specific, are embodiments of energy such as drive, desire and contradictory sentiments: attraction and repulsion; tenderness and violence; love and hate.

油罐艺术中心隆重呈现最新展览《More, More, More》，由Passing Fancy（朱筱蕤和弗雷德里克·诺维尔）策划，埃莉斯·阿玛尼协助策划，展示28位艺术家新的委约作品和代表作。
《More, More, More》展览中的作品散布表达的种子，并把传播、不可翻译性和语言的外在性，视为交流的一个固有维度。本展览中的作品不停地泄漏、滴落、发芽、重复：，需要翻译、染色、分泌；发声、磕磕巴巴、反射和发光，“沾湿一切”，并扭动。这些作品在不停地生长，通过不同的方式，来回答最初的关于感知和形式的问题。
TANK Shanghai proudly presents our upcoming exhibition More, More, More. Curated by Passing Fancy [X Zhu-Nowell & Frederick Nowell], with Elise Armani, More, More, More includes new commissions and existing works by 28 international artists.
Works in this exhibition leak, drip, sprout, repeat:, require translation, stain, secrete; utter, stutter, reflect, and glow, “wet everything," and wiggle. These are projects that grow, in different ways, from questions that, in earlier incarnations, were directed to feeling and form.
